This is a general policy based system on what questions you should ask yourself before you post anything. Remember common sense is the most common thing in all of these, so even if it is not posted here you should consider what the post is about before posting it. If you wouldn't do it in real life with people you know, why would you do it here?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.) Before you ever begin to post, or create a thread... consider the content of the message you're going to post. Is it relevant to the subject or area you're posting it in? Is there an area where it would be more appropriate or accurate to post this in? Do you think that it could be better suited for another section? These are things you must always consider before posting or creating a thread, and simply doing this will cut down on how much our moderators have to do; thus enabling them to bring you more content, and help the site grow instead of having to constantly moderate and prevent them from posting or finding new things.
=================================
2.) Is it offensive? Is your post attacking someones culture, opinions, gender, sexuality, or religion? Is it directly being created to hurt someone? It is often times better to hold your tongue then it is to lash out at someone because they're thinking differently than you. It is always allowed to offer opinions, but do it in a constructive and professional way and don't start attacking someone for how they choice to live their life.
===============================
4.) Is it about Rep? Topics about Rep as a whole are utterly pointless, complaining about the lack of it will get you nowhere and threads like this will be immediately closed unless it is a suggestion for the system (though there are very few alterations we can actually make to it.)
-------------------------------------------------------
5.) Per topic u can make 1
----------------------------------------------------------
Post new topics in the correct section. If you need help with your iphone make the thread in the iPhone/iPod touch help section. If you have news about apple or anything iPod/iPhone related post it in the Apple news section, etc etc. Posting in the correct area keeps the site nice and tidy, it makes the moderators jobs easier and people are more likely going to help someone who posts in the correct area.
=-===========================
Never double post. It looks messy there's no reason to bump a thread just to add to something you already said. If you forgot to add something use the edit button on your last post and add it there, do not post a new reply to say it, if a mod finds you double posting your posts will be merged, and if you continue to do it, you might be infracted. So please use the edit button

Outside links. We do not allow outside links to other sites. We see it as promoting and advertising and we believe nobody should get traffic and more members off us by posting links on the forum. We have never asked for advertisement from other sites, so we won't help other sites get traffic. The only links allow are for

Flooding the board. Do not flood the forums. This means if you want to post more than one app/movie/song/album/program make one big thread, do not make a new thread for every new upload you have. This makes the boards look unorganized, and even buries the threads that follow the rules and are decent at the bottom of the page or even several pages back
